Amidst a global landscape undergoing unprecedented changes in a century, traditional business models are facing challenges and are in dire need of innovation to seize new market opportunities. The emergence of new technologies and sectors is relentless, and the pace of technological innovation is poised to reshape the world at an accelerated rate. The scarcity of talent in science and technology innovation and international expertise is hindering the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Where will China's future industrial opportunities lie?
With contemplation and foresight for the future, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) has timely initiated the "HKUST (Guangzhou) INNOBLAZER Technology Innovation Leadership Program." Spearheaded by the Training Center of the Knowledge Transfer Office at HKUST (Guangzhou), the program leverages the institution's strengths in interdisciplinary scientific innovation and the profound business acumen of the HKUST Business School. In collaboration with the School of Science and Technology Business at the University of Science and Technology of China, participants will engage in a 12-month modular learning experience designed to inspire thought and foster intellectual exchanges. Together, they aim to incubate innovative talents and unicorn enterprises that could have a transformative impact on the Greater Bay Area and beyond.
